Inquest opens into the death of woman whose disappearance sparked major search operation

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a woman who went missing from Ramsey.

As previously reported by Energy FM, a huge search was launched in a bid to find Sarah Pinckard earlier this month.

The 51-year-old was reported missing on Wednesday 17th July.

Her car was found located by police two days later - but she wasn't inside.

An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned at Douglas Courthouse yesterday (Friday).
