Island's primary head teachers consider strike action

Primary school head teachers on the Island could take industrial action at the start of the new term in September.

Headteachers’ union the NAHT is balloting members in a dispute over pay.

The ballot closes on Friday, August 16.

Heads claim they have been forced to accept 10 years of below-inflation pay awards.
