Coastguard helicopter in search for missing Ramsey woman

Police now say they’re concerned for the well-being of 51 year old Sarah Pinckard.

She was last seen on Wednesday evening.

A Coastguard helicopter has been searching in the north of the Island – some local residents complained about the noise, but officers say it was an essential part of the search.

Sarah’s distinctive Nissan Juke has been located, but she was not in the vehicle. She’s described as five feet seven inches tall with dyed silver blonde hair.

Police are appealing to members of the public to keep a look out for her.
