Southern 100: Rider airlifted to hospital

Two riders have been injured after being involved in a collision during last night's Southern 100 Road Races.

Organisers have confirmed the incident happened on the opening lap of the Sidecar race.

The incident on the approach to Ballabeg Hairpin involved two sidecars, one competitor was airmed to Nobles Hospital, the other three were transferred to hospital by ambulance.

None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
