Teen injured jumping onto Viking ship

The coastguard were called out to Peel Harbour on Sunday afternoon after reports of a teenager jumping into the harbour.

It had emerged on arrival that the teen had jumped from the harbour and landed in a viking boat.

A member of the public had managed to bring the teen to land and was taken to hospital for further checks.

Crews are reminding us it's both illegal and dangerous to jump or swim into harbour areas.
