Tynwald Day petition on grandparents' rights

A pair of campaigners are hoping to raise issue of grandparents’ rights after handing over a petition on Tynwald Day.
Heather Miles and her husband Terry presented the document in St John’s, during the open air sitting of parliament yesterday.
Nineteen petitions for redress of grievance were submitted, and will be assessed by the Standing Orders Committee of Tynwald.
Then, a member of the Manx parliament may adopt them and press for a committee to be established to investigate the grievance, however this is not guaranteed.
