The Peel lifeboat had to be launched to escort a yacht to safety last night.
The crew of the Ruby Clery met the Port Erin lifeboat near Glen May.
The stricken yacht did not require a tow but a crew member from Port Erin RNLI was put onboard to help its lone crewman.
The two lifeboats then escorted the yacht to safety in Peel harbour.
