Inquest opens into the death of Castletown pensioner

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of an elderly woman from Castletown.

The body of 83-year-old Edna Mary Rolfe was found in the sea between the Calf of Man and the Sound on 10 June.

Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes opened the inquest at Douglas Courthouse. It’s been adjourned while further investigations are carried out.
