Knife crime on the island up......then down again

The number of people on the Island arrested for being in possession of a knife doubled in 2017/18.
That’s compared to the previous 12 months - but the figure then dropped significantly this year.
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey has given details to Tynwald at this morning’s sitting.
But he says it’s not known why the figures varied so much.
