Passenger dies on ferry crossing

A passenger has died during a sailing on the Ben-My-Chree.

The 67 year old man from England was taken ill on yesterday afternoon’s crossing from Heysham to Douglas.

A Coastguard helicopter was deployed to assist ferry staff with first aid.

But the man was confirmed dead when the Ben arrived in Douglas.
