A community project that teaches important life skills to children is gearing up for its 27th year next week.
The Crucial Crew project will teach various aspects of personal wellbeing including road safety, first aid, online security and safety in the home to children who are about the make the move to secondary school.
The project will focus on explaining to how to respond to emergency situations, including when to dial 999.
Local organisations across the week will aim to provide potentially life-saving information that will be helpful to the students taking part for the rest of their lives.
