Woman fined £1500 for crossing closed TT course

A woman has been fined £1500 after entering the closed TT course yesterday.

The 35-year-old woman visiting the Island from from Vanuatu appeared in court this afternoon, before the Magistrates.

The incident happened during last night's practice session near Hillberry Green.

She had been charged with contravening the Road Closure Order, having crossed the closed road yesterday and fined £1500.
