Living wage increases on Isle of Man

The second Isle of Man Living Wage report has been published this morning.

The report calculates the Living Wage for a Manx worker is £9.76 per hour.

Previously the figure was recorded as £8.61 in 2017.

A Government report says the increase results from a change to the baskets of goods and services for singles and couples without children in that the cost of one bedroom in private rented accommodation is now used, rather than one bedroom social housing.
