Police carry out road safety initiative

Police have been out today on the island running Operation Close Pass.

It’s an initiative designed to make our roads safer for motorcyclists and cyclists, by giving them plenty of space when overtaking.

Police say they had to speak to a few motorists about road safety.

Officers are asking drivers to show patience to all vulnerable road users.
