20 recorded cases of bullying in Island schools

The Education Department has revealed there have been more than 20 recorded cases of bullying in schools on the island in the last five years.

That figure’s been revealed in a written response in the House of Keys this week, following a question from MHK Jason Moorhouse.

He asked how many bullying cases there had been over that period, involving students, teaching staff, and others.

Five of those 23 incidents involved teaching staff, with 17 involving students.
