Pedestrian struck by car in Douglas

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a passing car in Douglas.

The incident happened around 2.30pm on Saturday on Peel Road in the area of Ashlar Drive.

The female pedestrian, who was walking her dog in the direction of Union Mills was struck on the right arm by the passing red coloured Renault Captur, leaving her with a soft tissue injury.
