Neil Parsons produced a perfect showing to be crowned English Open Skeet Champion in Derbyshire over the weekend.
He was the only one of the 222 shooters competing to score 100 straight at Doveridge and clinch the top prize.
The Manxman was in flawless form as he secured the high gun honours ahead of former British champion Andy Parsons (no relation) who was runner-up and another leading English marksman Henry Bale.
Experienced Commonwealth Games performer Parsons, (who admits he's not even particularly fond of the discipline!) was one of six Islanders who competed along with Stan Cross (94), Madeline Simpson (94), Rachael Bowen-Matthews (92) and juniors Michael Cross and Ted Davis (both 91).
