Emergency services respond to Poortown Road accident

Emergency services responded to a crash on the Poortown Road near Peel yesterday.

Fire crews from Peel and Kirk Michael were sent to the scene at just before 4pm.

Firefighters assisted colleagues from the ambulance service with the safe removal of the occupant to a waiting ambulance for further treatment.

The person is believed to have suffered minor injuries.
