A major overhaul of the Island's health and social care service is needed to save money and delivery - that's the findings from Sir Jonathan Michael who has released his final report and recommendations.
Containing 26 recommendations, the landmark report will be laid before Tynwald this month.
Sir Jonathan Michael is calling for the creation of a new delivery organisation for health and social care services, separate from the body which sets policies and priorities.
There are calls for improvements to out-of-hours care and the need for an emergency air bridge.
The Manx Government says it has accepted the report in its entirety and will seek Members’ approval for all the recommendations.
