Police are appealing for information after a resident in the south of the Island had their oil tank drained.
Thieves damaged and drained the domestic tank outside a house on Victoria Road in Castletown.
Officers are urging anyone who sees suspicious activity like unmarked vans with fuel bowsers to report it.
Those with oil tanks are also being advised to use padlocks and consider setting up CCTV to deter thieves.
