Police say they believe a hammer may have been used during an incident in the capital last month.
Emergency services were called to the Victoria Road area in Douglas on Saturday 20th April after two people were found injured.
Investigating officers say as well as a knife, a hammer could have been used.
Six people were arrested with two arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They have all since been released on bail.
