Casualty rescued from third floor building

Fire crews were called out to assist paramedics in transferring a casualty from a third storey building in Douglas.

Firefighters were called to the property near Broadway at 10:30pm last night.

The fire service says due to the position of the casualty and the suspected injuries they were fully immobilised and extricated on a stretcher.

The casualty was taken through the front window using the Aerial Ladder Platform.
