Young male bitten by dog in Onchan

Police are appealing for information after a young male was bitten by a dog in Onchan.

The incident happened behind Nursery Avenue in Onchan at around 3pm yesterday.

Officers from the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team say a young male was bitten on his forearm.

The dog is described as being brown, medium build and was running loose with a lead but no owner.

The animal is believed to have ran off in the direction of Main Road.
