Cavendish returns to the saddle

Mark Cavendish will return to racing today in the Tour of Turkey, after abandoning Paris-Nice whilst working towards full fitness after suffering illness last year.

The Manxman will ride as part of the Dimension Data squad accompanied by his lead-out man Mark Renshaw and fellow Brit Scott Davies.

The 33-year-old from Douglas has battled with the Epstein-Barr virus for the past two years.
