Ramsey Cottage Hospital receives state-of-the-art equipment

Ramsey Cottage Hospital has become the first in the British Isles to new sensor technology to monitor patients.

The sensor technology uses pads which are placed under the mattress of the patient.

The patient's heart rate, respiratory rate and their body movement is monitored by the pads.

Speaking to MTTV, Peter van Veen from Vannin Healthcare explains how the new system works.
