HSBC gets rowing to raise funds for charity

Staff at HSBC in Douglas will be holding a rowing event today in aid of Cancer Research UK.

It follows the Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race which took play on Sunday.

Workers at HSBC House on Ridgeway Street will be competing with other offices in Jersey and Guernsey to see which island team can row the furthest.

Taking it in turns to row on static machines, staff will be rowing between 9am and 5pm.

People visiting the branch today will be able to donate and HSBC staff will also be donating.
