UPDATE: Fallen tree removed

UPDATE: Police say the fallen tree has been moved but power lines and phone lines remain out.

A fallen tree has been causing traffic problems and has brought down power lines in the north of the Island.

It fell near to Lezayre Church. Police say there has been disruption to traffic travelling between Sulby and Ramsey while the incident is dealt with.

The tree also damaged telephone wires in the area.
