Flybe cancels flights around the UK

Flybe says it "sincerely apologises" to customers and partners hit by cancellations - due to what it called "operational reasons".

The airline's blamed factors including a shortage of pilots, the Easter holidays and base restructuring.

The carrier says while 95 percent of its flights are operating as normal, those affected can re-book or apply for a refund.

Flights to the Isle of Man are unaffected at this stage.
