Tynwald has a new sea services agreement for the Isle of Man.

The 25-year agreement will come into affect from January 2020.

Plans includes retiring the Ben-my-Chree from service in 2021 and refurbishing the catamaran Manannan.

Under the new terms, foot passenger fares could be frozen for two years and children and full-time students would travel on half-price tickets.

Improvements would also be made to passenger facilities in Douglas and Heysham.

The Manx government has said the final version of the deal will be published in May.
