Delay to re-opening of new NSC pool

There’s been a delay in the re-opening of the newly-refurbished NSC swimming pool.

The Department of Education, sport and Culture say it will open a month later than planned.

Officials are blaming ‘unforeseen structural works' as the reason for the delay.

Both the pools have been closed to the public since last August with the £4.2m renovation initially expected to be completed in May.
