A Pulrose man is due to be sentenced after trying to launder £8,000 and being caught with £6,000-worth of drugs.
Gary Foulis, of Oak Avenue admitted possessing criminal property and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
The court heard the 47-year-old had tried to post the money from Windsor Road Post Office in Douglas in December.
But staff became suspicious and alerted police when he told them the parcel contained Christmas cards.
He’ll be sentenced on Monday at the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
