Manx Telecom accepts £255.9m takeover bid

Manx Telecom has agreed to be a aquired for £255.9m by Basalt Infrastructure Partners.

Under the terms of the acquisition, Manx shareholders will be entitled to receive a price of 207.1 pence per share.

In addition, those who are on the register of members as at close of business on the day following the sanction date will be entitled to receive the interim dividend of 7.9 pence per share announced by Manx directors in its preliminary results announcement.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by early May.
