Flybe completes cut-price sale to Virgin

Flybe has completed its controversial sale to a consortium led by Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic - for just a penny per share.

The takeover of the troubled regional airline came after the management turned down a rival rescue proposal.

It was offering more money but the company insisted it wasn't viable.
