Five Commonwealth Games athletes shortlisted for sports awards

The shortlist for the 2018 Isle of Man Sports Awards have been announced.

The event will look back on 2018 and recognise athletes for their successful sporting achievements.

Five Commonwealth Games athletes, including silver medal-winning shooter Tim Kneale, have been shortlisted.

This year’s awards include 11 categories, including the Sportsman of the Year and Sportswoman of the Year.

Guest of honour at the awards is Olympic and Commonwealth Long Jump champion, Greg Rutherford MBE.

The awards will take place in April at the Villa Marina in Douglas.
