The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is freezing the cost of fishing licences ahead of the reservoir angling season.
Licences for the season, which gets underway next month, cover fishing at six reservoirs until the end of January next year.
The licence will cost £208 for adults and £78.80 for a young person aged 14 to 18 for the whole season, while day and week licences are also frozen in price.
Under 14s also need a licence, but these are free of charge.
Licences allow fishing at six reservoirs – Clypse, Kerrowdhoo, Cringle, West Baldwin, Sulby and Ballure, all of which would normally be stocked from March to October. However, due to a routine inspection of Ballure dam by Manx Utilities this reservoir will not be stocked this year as the dam will be completely drained.
