Pupils, parents and staff at King Williams’s College experienced a ‘Taste of Culture’ at the school’s annual charity evening, which raised more than £1,700 for a grassroots Moldovan charity.
The event, now in its 11th year, featured a fantastic selection of food, performances and music from across the globe.
The event was in aid of Speranta Terrei, a community organisation in Balti, northern Moldova, which works to raise awareness of tuberculosis (TB) and deliver much-needed TB and HIV medication to the region’s rural community.
King William’s College has been working with the charity for a number of years after being introduced to it by a pupil from Moldova.
