Yellow warning for snow and ice issued

A weather warning for snow and ice has been issued by Ronaldsway Met Office.

The yellow warning will be in force from 11pm today until 3am on Friday.

Forecasters say isolated showers this afternoon will become more frequent for a time early tonight, starting as rain but with some sleet late this evening.

Turning colder overnight with ice forming on wet roads.

Showers this evening, then icy patches forming later in the night and for Thursday morning. A hoar frost will form in some places on Thursday evening.
