Dealz is offering engagement rings for those who don't trust their own taste in jewellery. 

 

The high street discount shop, which has a store in Douglas, has put the sparklers on sale just in time for Valentine's Day.

 

Dealz have said the rings are available in a variety of colours and are part of their new Valentine's Day range, and give people the opportunity to propose "before they need to invest in the real rock".

 

It's marketing the bands with the tag line "because we promise they'll want to choose their own".

 

One of the products is silver with a large red gem - and is called Bling Ring. 

 

The chain says it thinks so-called placeholder rings may catch on.
