Businesses offering tourism accommodation are being reminded the deadline is approaching to register with the Department of Enterprise.
Hotels, self-catering accommodation, guest houses, bed and breakfast and a number of other types of tourist accommodation have to be registered with the Government to ensure they comply with legislation.
Such businesses need to have a fire safety certificate and insurance in order to be included.
The DoE says having all accommodation registered gives tourists confidence when booking a place to stay on the Island.
Any business or individual currently listed on websites such as Airbnb that is not registered with the Department should remove their listing and contact Visit Isle of Man to be guided through the registration process and which schemes apply to them.
Businesses have until January 25th to sign up - more details can be found on the Government's website.
