Last chance to have say on Peel sewage works

Wed, 09 Jan 2019

Residents in Peel are being reminded to have their say on the proposed development of a sewage treatment works.

The proposed site in Glenfaba will process Peel’s sewage to modern day standards which MU say will result in cleaner beaches and significant improvements to the Island’s environment.

Flow will be pumped to it from the existing promenade pumping station in Peel, through pipes laid in East Quay and the treated flow will return to the existing Peel sea outfall by gravity.

A survey on the Manx Utilities or Peel Comissoners website will close on Friday.
