Parents with kids who will turn five during the 2019-20 academic year are being reminded to register them with a school well in advance.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture is asking parents to sign their children up to a school as soon as possible to help schools plan staff allocations and resources.
Catchment areas are in place for the Island's primary schools, details of which can be found on the Government's website.
Children enter reception classes at the start of the academic year in which they have their fifth birthday.
