The Isle of Man Government says it will not be producing its own 12-sided one pound coin.
HM Treasury recently announced British territories and Crown dependencies are going to be able to design and mint their own versions of it.
But, the IOM Government have told Energy FM News that it currently has no plans to create its own 12-sided £1 coin, although it may be considered in the future.
The UK government described it as "the most secure of its kind in the world" when it was introduced in 2017.
