Second day of postal strike continues

Postal workers are taking their second day of strike action today.

Talks have been continuing between unions and IOM Post Office officials to try to resolve a dispute over changes to working conditions.

The action by the Communication Workers Union means that there will be no door to door deliveries today.

Bosses say they have made contingency plans to make sure special delivery and Parcelforce items are delivered.

Further talks will be held in January to try to resolve the dispute.
