Shares soar in Flybe as I-A-G show interest

Shares in Flybe soared earlier today after reports that BA's owner I-A-G is interested in buying the regional airline.

At one point stocks had risen by 40 percent before dropping back slightly.

Flybe's in talks with several firms, including Virgin Atlantic, after putting itself up for sale.

Stobart Air has operated Flybe routes to and from the Isle of Man for a number of years but that deal ends in March next year.
