A person had to be cut free from their car yesterday following a collision in Onchan.
Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 3:55pm of reports of a single car crash on King Edward Road.
On arrival, the crews discovered a car had left the road and was situated against a Manx Electric Railway power line post.
Crews extracted on person from the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment.
The casualty was believed to have received only minor injuries.
Appliances remained in attendance for a short while to ensure the vehicle was made safe ready for recovery.
