The Manx Labour Party is looking to bring two pertinent social issues to the fore ahead of the winter at a public meeting this evening.
A talk on loneliness and the work of the Foodbank is being held at the South Douglas Old Friends Association on Finch Road from 7pm.
Dr Jeff Garland will speak about the issue of loneliness, and Foodbank Director Neal Mellon will talk about his charity’s work.
It’s a part of a series events organised by the party.
