Future Ferry Agreement To Be Known In New Year

The new user agreement with Steam Packet Ferries is due to be revealed early next year.

Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan has told this month’s Tynwald sitting that the Department of Infrastructure will deliver the proposed new agreement to parliament in January.

Tynwald voted to have the DoI present a new agreement proposal within a year of the Treasury buying the Steam Packet.

The deal was finally completed in May.
