Hero Neighbour Rescues Man & Dog From Burning Home

A Port Erin man is being hailed as a hero after rescuing his neighbour and his pet dog from a house fire.

Mark Seed noticed flames through his neighbour’s window – he went into the house and brought the elderly man and his dog to safety.

The fire broke out in the house on Grammah Avenue last Thursday.

The man was treated for the effects of smoke by paramedics and the dog was also given oxygen.
