Douglas lifeboat was launched yesterday following the report of an unconscious crewman on a fishing vessel in Douglas harbour.
The all-weather lifeboat Marine Engineer was launched to attend to the unconscious crewman who had passed out on the deck of a fishing boat moored at the Fort Anne Jetty.
The man had regained consciousness by the time crews arrived.
An ambulance was at the Liner Berth to meet the lifeboat and having handed the casualty fisherman over to the waiting paramedics the lifeboat crew returned to station for the lifeboat to be re-housed and made ready again for service.
