House Fire In Port Erin

An investigation is underway into a house fire in Port Erin.

A neighbour heard the smoke alarm and went to help the person inside.

Their dog had to be given oxygen after the blaze in Grammah Avenue last night.

Crews were called to the scene at 9pm to tackle the living room fire, which left the house heavily smoke logged.

The cause of the fire isn’t yet known.
